Below we have compiled a list of 5 different tiny home communities in Indiana. These are as follows:

1. Tiny Home Communities In Indiana: Lomax

Lomax is a very tiny community. It is only about 34 acres and is northwest of northern Indiana. Even though it is in the middle of the woods bordering Chicago, people consider it a part of Indiana.

This community was built as part of the green promotion to live in a small space surrounded by nature. In addition to the regular facilities inside each house, the security in this area has been maximized by fences and gates. In addition, you can even enjoy wild-live if you live here.

2. Tiny Home Communities In Indiana: Bloomington

While these indeed fall under the standards of tiny homes, they are movable studio houses. This community in Indiana was built for these houses along the banks of Mississippi to interchange the where they want to place the house.

Carpenter Owl, a leading studio house builder in Indiana, built these houses. The materials used to make the house come from natural sources, making the house eco-friendly. Currently, there are three different models available.

Most of the houses here might be RVs, but several smaller houses are not movable. These houses are lower than 200 square feet and have facilities like the kitchen, toilets, and even a loft area.

While the permanent residents live in their RVs, the stand-alone homes have been built as holiday homes and are mainly there for tourists to stay in. If you want to vacation in a place close to nature, this could be the best fit for you.

4. Indianapolis

The tiny home community in West Indianapolis is still not finished. It was made to fight homelessness, and right now, there are only 14 houses. Each house is about 100 square feet and comes together with all the required facilities that a house would need.

While this community is only available to homeless people, other apartments are available to rent in central Indiana. These apartments are incredibly small and so very cheap.
